Wide open rural forests and spaces

I have MS photography and art are my things I need time alone in rural forests or wide areas where other people rarely are. I have all of this in walking distance but I can’t walk very far so would like to be able to take my car. I know all the local accessible areas that not many people access. I would not go if there was risk. I know that if I see others there I do not go to that particular spot and should choose another one. Please may this be allowed to keep my mental health balanced.

Why the contribution is important

It will help my mental health and creative expression. I unusually like to travel across Scotland I know that is not possible but rural nature areas are my life.

NTS, forestry commission etc should be encouraged to open up the areas they closed off at the start of the pandemic. But these areas should only be available to LOCAL residents in the initial opening stages. Limit travel for exercise to 30 minutes. Argument will be it would be difficult to police - issue permits and volunteers to man car parks where possible. Risk of injury and need of NTS - no more than the increase of an accident whilst walking or cycling along roads.
