Widening spaces to enable social distancing

I think for retail to begin to open again they need to evaluate the space that members of the public can access. Where there is only one entrance/exit, doors etc could be widened to allow social distancing. They would also need to control numbers inside, perhaps an employee on all the doors to control numbers inside. The layout of premises should be considered for example instead of racks of products being in the middle of the floor, they could be displayed more thoughtfully to allow greater social distancing.
Shopping malls could introduce an allocated shopping time slot, available online, to minimise numbers inside the mall, this would cut down the need for big queues outside also.

Why the contribution is important

To minimise social contact and therefore minimise transmission of Covid-19
