Local education committees shouldn’t just have church representation; should represent all religious positions

Local education committees have representatives from local churches.

They need to fully represent the full range of faith and non-faith communities, and make sure issues such as sex education are discussed in a meaningful way.

These representatives are not voted onto committees and community representation does not lead to equal religious representation.

Why the contribution is important

This is important because addressing this would ensure a fuller range of views are represented in relation to education.
