Protect and Reform the NHS

There was much pride in the NHS and it was agreed that it was important to protect the walls and institutions, but there was scope to move the furniture around. There are innovations, which can improve care. The NHS lacks flexibility and needs to listen to all professionals working in health and social care, and treat people as a whole rather than being sub-divided into categories. It is important to protect free care but also to make sure that we value and can afford a free NHS. It is important to waste less.

Why the contribution is important

Free healthcare at the point of use is seen as important and it must be protected and affordable.
