Video representation of proposed large/significant developments

This is not a new idea, but I think that developers should post a video image of any proposed large or significant development, to help potential responders comment realistically on the planning application.

Why the contribution is important

Plans are very difficult to interpret, so anything which helps the public make an informed choice of whether to comment can only help democracy and help to reduce conflic between the pblic and Council/developers.

When Marischal Square was proposed in Aberdeen, there were few objections, partly as the piblic did not understand the scale of the development. A private company then posted a video image of the development based on the apporved plans and there was public outcry. Now, as the development rises ever more skyward, the public are really angry but can't do anything.

An excellent idea. Then both members of the public and Planning Committees will have a better idea of how new developments will affect those already living nearby.
