Why not insist that they work for the local authority in some useful role whilst in receipt of the MIG if they are physically able.

We already have a growing percentage of the population that have never worked for a living and now we are looking at guaranteeing them an income as well. The non tax paying economy is alive and well in Scotland but the politicians cannot/will not see it. We keep taxing the Scottish hard workers to pay for this and they are voting South with their feet. This continual handout only makes people more reliant on the state or is that the purpose?
