Regarding pensions in Scotland, yes they should be a proper living amount, but unfortunately for whatever reason it isn’t, and this Mig, also needs to take into consideration what the pension is or even pensions that people are getting, without penalising people for having a pension of their own. At this moment, people are being penalised because of a lot of things that they have worked for, or even tried to save for. We are now in the 21st century, and people are having to use their savings for basic items, or basic care. If you have saved for your retirement, will MIG, be lowered because of that, if they own their own house, would that counts against them. Just because someone bought their own house, doesn’t mean that they are not on the poverty line, far from it, they can or could be struggling like a lot of people.
