Govt Guidance should be clear and not open to interpretation

Re the Care inquiry I feel very strongly that any guidance re our family members health and safety should encompass both their physical and mental health and be clear & concise with a legal framework which is not open to interpretation by CH providers, Managers etc and we as power of attirnies/family members should be part of the discussions.
These are our loved ones homes and during this pandemic our loved ones and us as family members have been bystanders as they and our lives have been dictated to by Govts and Senior Officials who understandably have to make difficult decisions but through no mandated guidance have allowed a difficult situation to be even harder than it should have been.
Governments need to with provide Indemnity to the Social Care Service or allow us as next of kin/poa to make our own decisions as to what we think is an acceptable, humane way for our loved one/s to live.
You have all failed to treat us like the Adults we are and we can never get this time back.
For those who have lost their loved one/s this is all the more tragic.
We know our loved ones better than anyone and they
need us and we need them.
Our voices are not being heard in real time and we don’t have the luxury of time.

Why the contribution is important

It’s required as it’s the humane thing to do and never again should they be locked in and us locked out of their lives when other measures can and should have been taken long before now.
