How training is delivered to support/care staff

My ideaa is more of an observation. I worry about online training for care staff. As someone who delivers training I see, directly the benefits of face to face training and interaction. There is a place for digital training but no matter what face to face training allows the sharing of ideas, it allows discussion and it finds solutions. 

The basic principle for me is, you can't train people to care in front of a computer screen, people need people. 

Why the contribution is important

This is important because it is some of the feedback that staff are giving, if you check the CI care inspections the comments are made from staff. It is also about competency, feeling confident in someone's ability to administer medication or provide intimate personal care cannot be assessed from a computer screen or software. 

As social care continues to be left behind, now is the time to ensure that staff get the chance to talk to each other and learn from each other.
