Community Benefit Funding as a % of developer profit

I believe consideration should be given community benefit funding being based as a percentage of profit generated by Developers.  Has anyone calculated the profit to Developers from for example BESS, Solar Farms, and Windfarms etc.  All this information is available i.e. how much Developers sell their energy to the Grid.  Developers already receive substantial incentives from the UK Government through CfD (AR8  about to get underway) and other funding streams.  Billions of pounds of constraints payments are being made to Developers who have switch off their developments because of lack of grid capacity.  Nevertheless, local communities have had their lives, wellbeing, livelihoods and local environment industrialised and therefore a percentage of constraints payments should also be paid to communities to have to live with these eyesores 24/7/365 a  year.

Why the contribution is important

Presently, I believe Scotland's people are not getting a fair deal.  Landowners are leasing their lands and encouraging renewable developers to lease their land for 40 years.  Some of these landowners, depending on the size of the land leased, are making tens of millions plus in financial gain and at the end of the day the land still belongs to them after the 40 year lease period comes to an end.  It's a win win situation for landowners.  A very very small number of landowners own the majority of Scotland's land.  The Majority of them do not live in Scotland and those that do, only live here for a few weeks/months a year.

The Scottish Government need to ensure that Scotland's people have the right to benefit from the billions of profit to be generated from their country, otherwise the disparity between the land rich and working people will widen.  Scotland should not make the same mistake they did with North Sea Oil and lessons should be learned from Norway.  Scotland should put people and nature ie Public Good before Profits.

I saw somewhere that the profit per installed MgW is about 100,000. Yet the CBF is being proposed at 6k -uprated less than inflation from 2019; and will be worth much less when some of the windfarms are installed (e.g. after 2030). This does not seem right to me. Additionally, some companies are already paying more than 7k in CBF.
