Free electricity for those directly impacted

There should be free electricity for those directly impacted by large energy development. Properties affected by an increase in noise, flicker and any other detrimental effect of such development must be compestated in some way.

Many people living in rural areas choose to do so for a reason. That is often to escape the noise of towns and cities, live in remote, peaceful and beautiful countryside. For some it will have been a farm or Croft, passed down through generations that they don't want to leave. These developments take away everything they hold valuable in where they have chosen to live. As things stand there is no compensation for the loss they face when these industrial scale projects are passed through planning. Often they cannot afford to sell up and move, and is there anywhere they could go that is safe from the same industrialisation of the Scottish countryside? The only 'safe' areas are in  the National Parks!
There has to be some form of compensation for those that face the destruction of the countryside around them!
