Help with energy bills

Community benefits I have seen in the past have sometimes been advantageous for certain groups but it would be good to see some benefits that would be of help to all households regardless of whether they have children, what sector they work in etc. I think at this time (when we don't have zonal pricing) it would be heartening for community benefit to encompass assistance with energy bills which is a large part of the cost of living crisis. I feel it would also be fair and make sure no one is left out of the benefits for the relevant community.

Why the contribution is important

See above - I think this would benefit all community members in a fair and helpful way

    Anyone in a previously rural area free from large scale industrial infrastructure, who then is subjected to the erection of an industrial scale windfarm, BESS or substation within 10km of their residence should get free electricity to compensate for the adverse effects on their health and financial situation.

    The danger of schemes like this is that they may encourage more energy use rather than reduced cost. All for helping those that need it, but not lining the pockets of those that do not.
