Over 70s

Stop persecuting those over 70,It's ageist,which is supposed to be against the law,and an insult to elderly people,treating them like lepers won't help anyone,there's plenty fit and healthy over 70s don't lump older people in the one basket!!!!

Why the contribution is important

Make older people feel like they're same as everyone else,and not like they're part of a leper colony.

    There are plenty of very fit older people who need to be treated equally.

    Completely agree with this. It is a bit insulting. If statements re over 70's are made out of concern for " the oldies" it is welcomed, however most of us can still think ,take advice and can abide and obey reasonable instructions like the ones given at the moment. If we are fit and are not high risk might even welcome a planed and phased relaxation of lockdown when is safe to do so
